CRM Manager
Wedlake Bell is recruiting for a CRM Manager to work with our BD & Marketing Team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
CRM Manager
Wedlake Bell is growing fast as a top City law firm – with this comes the need to grow and develop our BD & Marketing team capabilities in line with needs of the business. This has involved significant investment into the BD & Marketing team's growth and the tools we use.
As the CRM Manager, your role is strategic in leading and owning the use of our CRM platform, LexisNexis InterAction, firm-wide. While Wedlake Bell has used InterAction for some years, without dedicated management its effectiveness across the firm has been inconsistent.
We are looking to change this – joining us as CRM Manager, you will own and re-establish InterAction as a principle BD & Marketing tool, managing the infrastructure and setup, promoting its use throughout the firm, and working with stakeholders across the business to build positive user engagement and data accuracy.
In return, at Wedlake Bell we offer an unbeatable working culture, a competitive salary, and opportunities for your own personal and professional development.

Joining us, you will be part of a firm which supports work/life balance, personal development, and building strong connections. With regular cross-firm socials and events (including our renowned yearly ski trip!), you will quickly feel like part of the WB team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and continually develop the InterAction infrastructure, ensuring it is set-up in a way that ensures the data can be filtered, manipulated, and supports its effective use for business intelligence;
- Ensure InterAction bolt-ons and integrations are identified, managed and continually developed;
- Identify, develop and promote appropriate reports covering, for example: client activity, interests, opportunities, relationships, etc. Collaborate with IT to identify and develop appropriate dashboards which positively contribute to the sharing of information and intelligence in the firm;

- Collaborate with members of the BD & Marketing team and others to advise and support them in the use of InterAction to execute day-to-day M&BD activities (inc. marketing communications, events, mailings, campaigns and targeting);
- Maintain CRM data integrity and quality control; handling ongoing tickets, auditing data, correcting any incorrect or outdated entries and running processes that support and maintain data integrity, in line with our regulatory obligations;
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that may arise – such as integration issues, user errors, and liaising with LexisNexis support when necessary; and
- Ensure InterAction maintains best practices in data governance and GDPR.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Significant experience in managing and developing CRM systems in a law firm or professional services environment – experience with managing and developing InterAction (including back-end functions and setup) is essential;
- Ideally, some experience of project-managing the rollout of CRM or CRM functions across a business – particularly where the CRM upkeep has been poor;
- Excellent communication skills – able to build relationships at all levels, with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to challenge, influence and change behaviours accordingly;
- Effective coach and trainer at all levels of seniority;
- Strong presentation skills;
- A dynamic self-starter, capable of managing a demanding workload and prioritising tasks accordingly; and
- Strong mind for technology and delivering technology-based solutions for business development.
